About
Whether he is speaking to an audience of attorneys, CEOs, home builders, nurses, pharmacists, administrative assistants or police chiefs, Jack is equally at home—and his message, Helping Keep Good People Good, applies to all.
Jack is a trained mediator, a licensed counselor, a board certified expert in traumatic stress (by the American Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress), and a certified instructor for the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation (ICISF). He holds a Masters Degree from the University of Arizona and a Bachelor’s Degree from Western Illinois University.
Before embarking on his successful consulting career in 1994, Jack spent twenty years with the Tucson Police Department, retiring as Captain. During his law enforcement career, Jack was well respected in a wide variety of executive-level positions including human resources, budget, training, narcotics, communications, management information, air support, and patrol.
While working in law enforcement, Jack had a “front row seat to the greatest show on earth,” and had an opportunity to work with people under very diverse circumstances. While finishing his master’s degree, his management roles provided him a laboratory for the practical study of human behavior. This gave Jack the ability to put academic theory to the test, time and time again, as well as the opportunity to develop and hone his own skills and personalized approach.
Today, Jack draws on his unique combination of law enforcement, management and behavioral science experience, as well as his personal passion for practical solutions, to provide results-oriented training that helps people from all backgrounds and across all industries develop the skills they can use to excel in everyday, real-life situations.
